Privacy policy
This page explains, in plain words, what data DENTROFORA handles, why, with whom, for how long and how you stay in control. It follows the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).
In short
- We only ask for what we need: name and email, with an optional phone number.
- We do not sell data and do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- You can leave our updates list in one click and ask us to delete your data at any time.
- Our forms are for people aged 18 or over. Younger people take part through a parent or legal guardian.
- Data is kept on Cloudflare infrastructure, and automatic emails are sent by Resend.
Who looks after your data
DENTROFORA is responsible (the controller) for the data handled on this website, dentrofora.com, and in the emails it sends.
For any privacy matter, including exercising your rights, write to [email protected]. You can also reach us on Instagram at @dentrofora.hub.
What data we handle
- Updates sign-up
- name, email, WhatsApp (if you provide it), chosen language, the date and version of the consent you gave, and your declaration that you are 18 or older. We also keep the technical status of welcome emails, such as acceptance by the sending provider.
- Contact form messages
- name, email, phone (if you provide it), subject, message, language, the dates it was sent and confirmed, and the declaration that you are 18 or older or the legal guardian. The code emailed to you to confirm the message is stored only in encrypted form and is valid for 10 minutes.
- Browsing
- aggregated visit statistics, such as pages viewed, traffic sources and device type, collected by Cloudflare Web Analytics. According to Cloudflare, this tool does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
- Abuse prevention
- a temporary identifier derived from your network address, used to limit repeated attempts. The address itself is not stored. On the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser signals to tell people from bots.
- In your browser
- only your light or dark theme preference, kept in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us.
We do not ask for identity documents, banking details or sensitive data. Please do not send this kind of information through the form.
Children and teenagers
The updates sign-up and the contact form are for people aged 18 or over, and both ask you to confirm it. People under 18 can follow DENTROFORA through a sign-up made by a parent or legal guardian, using the guardian’s own details.
When the subject involves an athlete under 18, such as a partnership, a sponsorship or an interview, we talk with the parent or legal guardian, and any use of the athlete’s name, image or story depends on the guardian’s authorization.
If we learn that we received data from a child or teenager without a guardian’s involvement, we delete it. In all of this we follow the best interests of children and teenagers, as the LGPD requires (art. 14). To report such a case, write to [email protected].
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- Updates
- sending DENTROFORA news by email and, once that channel is in use, by WhatsApp. Legal basis: your consent (LGPD, art. 7, I), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Contact
- replying to your message and following up on what you raised, such as a partnership, a sponsorship or an interview. Legal basis: legitimate interest in handling your request and, where applicable, steps prior to a contract (art. 7, IX and V).
- Security
- protecting the website, the form and our emails against bots, fraud and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
- Improving the website
- understanding how the website is used, in aggregate, to improve content and performance without identifying anyone. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent contact lists.
Who we share it with
We rely on providers that process data on our behalf, only to make the website and emails work:
- Cloudflare
- website hosting, database, forwarding of @dentrofora.com emails, bot protection and visit statistics.
- Resend
- delivery of automatic emails, such as welcome messages and confirmation codes.
- Google (Gmail)
- the mailbox where our team receives internal notices and messages sent to @dentrofora.com addresses.
These providers may process data outside Brazil, including in the United States. In those cases, the transfer takes place to provide the service you asked for and follows the safeguards set out in the LGPD (art. 33).
We may also share data when required by law or by a competent authority. Instagram is an external service: when you open the @dentrofora.hub profile, Meta’s privacy rules apply.
How long we keep it
- Updates sign-up
- for as long as you stay on the list. If you leave, we stop sending and keep only a record that you left, so that your choice is respected. To erase your whole record, ask for deletion.
- Message without a confirmed code
- deleted automatically within 24 hours.
- Confirmed message
- for as long as needed to reply and follow up. You can ask for deletion at any time.
- Abuse controls
- from 10 minutes to one day, depending on the type of limit.
- Visit statistics
- kept as daily summaries, with no personal data.
Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can at any time:
- confirm whether we handle your data and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- ask for anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data handled against the law;
- ask for data portability;
- ask for deletion of data handled on the basis of your consent;
- find out who we share your data with;
- withdraw consent and learn what happens if you do not give it;
- object to processing that does not comply with the law;
- ask for a review of decisions made solely by automated means.
To leave the updates list, use the link at the end of our emails. For any other request, write to [email protected]. We may ask for a simple confirmation that the request is yours, to protect your data.
You may also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd. If you live in another country, you can use the same contact to exercise the rights given by your local law.
How we protect it
- The whole website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
- The internal area where our team reviews sign-ups and messages is restricted and requires a single-use access code sent by email.
- Confirmation and access codes are stored encrypted, never as plain text.
- Service keys are kept in our providers’ configuration vaults, outside the website code.
No system is completely immune to failures. If a security incident could bring you significant risk or harm, we will notify you and the ANPD, as the LGPD requires.
Automatic checks on the form
To stop bots and meaningless messages, the contact form automatically checks the email format and whether its domain receives mail, whether the phone number is valid for the selected country, and whether the text contains words. These checks only decide whether the message can be sent. They do not assess you or the content of your proposal.
If the form rejects something legitimate, write directly to [email protected]. A person will read it.
Changes to this page
When we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Important changes will be highlighted.
